I know it's one of you punks. I checked the Walmart on Lima and the one on Coldwater yesterday. There was not a roll of blue foam to be had. Those lovely $5.88 rolls were MIA.
Come on Walmart, restock.

Oh really? Hmmm... I figured they were just out of stock because they still had space on the shelf for them and the $5.88 tag was still there reserving the space. It will be unfortunate if this is true.
Note: On the national boards, about once a month someone starts a scare that Walmart is that either all Walmarts or just their's isn't selling blue foam anymore. They are told that they won't carry it anymore (it has never been an online purchaseable item). Usually within a couple weeks the store stocks it again.
Let's hope the respawn is quick on these guys.

YOU WANT BETTER INTEL??
As you may have known I was on the inside for a bit...and I have seen some things that go on there. THE HORROR!!!
As I was heading out the door the overlords at wal-mart were introducing a new store merchandising model. The stores in the inner part of the city will stock things in their sporting good section that their customers will take to the gym. Etc. Yoga mats, pads, home workout equipment. This will leave very little camping supplies that will go to their stores.
So in other words you might still see blue foam come in to your favorite store but it may be in limited quantities maybe a box or two of the stuff. Which I know from experience that a box of the stuff only holds about 4 rolls.
Stores like the one on the 37 or Auburn will see more camping and hunting supplies and less workout equipment. I know that the auburn store always has it in stock. I also buy from the wal-mart on 37 and I always see at least 8 rolls of the stuff.
Here is what I will do for you guys. IF you want rolls of the stuff to be delievered to you at practice let me know before hand that you will be at the practice and how many you will need. Its a 10 minute drive to either one of these wally worlds for me and I will be glad to help you out.
I ONLY ASK THAT YOU DO NOT STIFF ME AND LEAVE ME WITH A BUNCH OF ROLLS OF THIS STUFF. WHEN I GET STIFFED ONCE I WILL NOT DO IT AGAIN FOR ANYONE.

Alright. I popped in the 37 Walmart today. They had 6 rolls and I nabbed 2. I also saw that they had the Gold's Gym Yoga mats on sale for $9 instead of $19. Two layers of that stuff usually makes for an okay stabbing tip on blue weapons (on top of 2 or 3 layers of blue foam).

I have 3 rolls of the stuff that we purchased last year for Bad Wolf stuff but never got around to using. Since I see there is such a shortage, I would be willing to sell some for......a million dollars! Muuuahahahaha! srsly though, I don't think I'll be using all 3 rolls for what little gear I have to do this year, so I'd be willing to use some of it to help the newbies. :-)

Going through my old buddies from wally world they said they would be willing to put through shipping for blue foam whenever i needed. So I might order about 20 rolls of the stuff (somewhere around there). He is the thing though i dont want to pay 100 bucks for blue foam.
So lets make an estimate about how much of the stuff we are actually going to need to pick up. Because I bought out the rest of the maysville walmart last night and they said it would take anywhere between 2-4 weeks to get anymore in. I actually looked at the telxon and it said "none in stock" None in warehouse" "12 on order". This effectivly means that there is a good chance of not seeing any for at least a month because walmart usually tends to be two weeks behind on anything "on order" because it takes about an extra two weeks to get through the warehouse veryfing process.
