Do I have this about right as to the general location of the IRL cities in terms of the LBTL map, and the circled red is basically what we're trying to map out?

the main camp is in fort wayne, hence wherever bishop and militus are. I doubt we should include the other cities, since we don't actually have anyone from them, but once we do, ya that would make sense.

True, but I was more going for in terms of distances. If we are only mapping it out as "Fort Wayne" then there really isn't much to map out except the encampment and a couple miles around it. That wouldn't really be mapping much of "The Northern Steppes" at all. I was under the impression that NS was the chapter for NE Indiana, thus why the hunk was carved out so big. So say we cut off Angola and just use New Haven, CC, and Decatur (which anyone from any of those areas will undoubtably be driving the 30 minutes to Ft. Wayne to play I'm sure) and stick all that white area up by the camp. Still not much for a map. So what exactly would we be mapping out?

I think we were going more for specific things in fort wayne, like a while back i remember lamp working on a picture houses layed out on a map of FW and practice areas for most of the northern steppe. I don't know whatever happened to that

Hmmm...ok. I guess that makes sense, being the encampment is the only settled area, and the rest is basically moving nomadic villages. So basically we are wanting to map out the encampment and the surrounding area, not the NS entirely. :-)
As much as I was all down for a map, it doesn't seem like much of a task, tho', considering the encampment would look similar to the Old Fort when it's active with an event. A few cabins, a wall, and some tents around the outside, traders with a market and such on the inside. No real "houses" to be mapped out. No "villages" on the outskirts a few miles away, because they are roving (if I understand Bishop's description of the region correctly).
Seems to me instead of a "map" what we need is more a mental map of what's going on in the region. Who are these tribes, what are their names? What do people eat? What sort of vegetation is there in the region...are there trees and hills and bushes and such (like Fort Wayne), or is it all just cold, icy, snow-covered steppe (like Act 5) that thaws out in places from time to time around hot springs and in the spring and summer months (such as the Fields of Tranquility)? What races live around here, are there any tribes that aren't human? Are there any tribes who are at war with each other? Where do the dragons live, or are they nomadic, too?
These are the kinds of things I want to know. :-)

Did this issue ever get hammered out? If so, I would like a copy of said "Region Map".
