What kind of materials & shields are we making? Do you have saws and stuff to use to cut plywood?

The shields that are being made are the blue foam shields that we have started to build for our standard shields. These are replacing the normal punch shield foam that we have used in the past.
If you are interested in building this type of shield you should come out to the build so you can learn. These are really easy shields to build on your own and you can customize the shape to anything you want.
the materials you need are: 6 rolls of walmart blue foam 2 cans of weldwood dap contact cement a length of pvc pipe for support for straps or cores for punch shields
this will cost you around 40-50 bucks and will last you about 1-3 years if you build it solid enough

Beard; by "cans of DAP" do you mean Pints, Quarts or Gallons? By PVC how big do you mean? By "bucks" do you mean American or Canadian?

I should be there. I work days that week and am off Wednesday. Provided we're wrapped up and cleaned up and out of there by 9-9:30 I should be good to go. I can try to get there a bit early as well if you need help setting up.

Maas has a point there! Do you want to have a couple of more sturdy shields or just keep them all blue foam punch style either way will be good. The Plywood will allow for a couple of strap shields incase someone wants a different style. Even though straps can be done with the blue foam shields they just need to be a little more tender care to do that.
Also, I will show up for a little bit because I want to take a couple pictures of the process so i can put a tutorial up on the boards so that way it easily explained out and accessible.

The build went great!
We got 4 done and I'll be finishing the last 2 covers today.
Unfortunately I had to skip school to get my old car to my house and the battery is dead.
If someone can call Wolf and send him my way before practice, we can have loaner gear. Sadly my phone is MIA.
Or
Someone can just come get it.
