I've picked up a couple things over the last few months and wanted to show them off. Hopefully it will inspire some people. I enjoy seeing everyone's sweet garb on and off the field. I'm rocking a tunic and belt that I picked up from Rowan last year, some scrub pants from Salvation Army, a fanny pack I made myself, and a peasant type hood that a friend of mine made. Here I am sporting the hood up and a new half mask that I made tonight. It was my first attempt at such a mask. This one isn't armor grade... yet. One more shot of the mask with the hood down. The season is about to start. It's time to suit up.

Very nice work. You look like some sort of highwayman.
Making the mask from armor grade leather is easy. I'm not sure how you have it strapped to your head. Looks like string from the hood down photo, but it looks good.

Thanks. The prototype mask seen here is held on with a thin rope (1/8" clothesline I believe). It is attached near the top corners of the mask just over my ears.

For the finished version, you could make a head-band strip out of thinner leather scraps.

Pretty nifty. I really like the peasant cowl! Goes well with the tunic.
