Hey everyone, It's Eric from the documentary duo. I wanted to post and let everyone know where the documentary is at this point. First of all, I'm sorry that I haven't been out these past 2 weeks since Olympics. I have been quickly trying to put this thing together and also just caught whatever illness this is that's going around.
Anyway, the doc is looking great so far. I have a rough cut assembled which my teachers and a few peers got to see last week. Great feedback so far and everyone I show it too seems really excited to see the end result.
As some of you may or may not know, Andrew and myself want to extend this documentary beyond just our course requirements for school. That being said, we will have a good looking piece of film for our deadlines but want to continue working on this more (shooting, editing, sound etc.) We have had such a great time making this and don't want to sell everyone short of what could be a great documentary, due to time restraints by our schools.
I look forward to getting out and playing more with everyone soon. Hopefully this illness passes quickly.
take care!

Will there be people out at Shoaff today? I was planning on coming out and also wanted to let people know that I am submitting the documentary to the Three Rivers Film Festival which is July 13th at the Cinema Center downtown. I hope everyone who wants to see it can make it then. I could also set up a screening in my schools screening room anytime before that. I wanted to see what everyone thought about this!

Sorry I didn't see your message earlier. We had about a dozen brave souls out today in the wind, mud and rain (sprinkles), but the weather kept attendance low.
I think there are a few of us that would very much like to see your latest cut of the film. I hope your hard work earned you a good grade in your class.
Submitting it to the local festival sounds great. Build your portfolio and get some more people exposed to Dagorhir. Sounds like an excellent way to pick up a few new recruits too.

Totally going to be there on the 13th. It's a block away from the apartment!
