You have seen my armor. I want to attempt to dye parts of it black. I have the hobby lobby Eco-Flo brand. Will dye stick to treated leather? will it bleed? how do i keep it from bleeding if it might? (other than stay out of the rain)

I'd love to get together one day and just go over how to whip up leather armor. Go over the basics so I can do a rough outline of what I'm looking to build then get your guys' help with the specifics.

That eco-flo dye from hobbie lobby is crap and will bleed like crazy. you could use it as long as you seal it on after...but i don't recomend it. as for the prestep to dying you want to wash the leather down in warm soapy water....it gets alot of oils off the surface and makes the dying easier.
