i dont think those are called rivets. its like an accenting thing, those are too small to be rivets. at least i think so.

They're studs. It's basically an inverted rivet. The rivet is on the inside of the armor, and the flat end is instead ornamental, in this case rounded.

So ya know, I said I was gonna dig around and find something truly Death Jester looking for ya Mook...however, the more and more I look, the less and less I think Death Jesters really wear armor. :-P Then again, they don't seem much to use tower shield and flail either, they appear more to be sort of evil bards / rogues / pirates. o.0 I'm guessing maybe something like this might work? Bone armor could be dope...but it'd be hell to cut, wax, shape all the leather into bone-looking constructs, and that'd be a hella ton of black and white dye methinks...but could be worth it...

its fiebing's green dye. alcohol based. first two layers with dubber and one layer over that with low density sponge brush gave the woodgrain-esque finish. but as maas said,"it looks better online." *rolls eyes.*
