As a result of something that caused me great confusion at Wednesday's practice, I propose that the NS council draft up and post the chapter-specific rules for the NS.
From what I've been told, and correct me if I'm wrong, the Dagorhir MoA is the basic rule layout, with many things open to individual chapter interpretation. Because of this, I think it would be a good idea to make a set list of anything that the NS has altered from the MoA, to clear up any confusion.
Thoughts?

That's pretty much my question, if there was anything. The whole thing that sparked my curiosity was during one of the fights, I had taken my opponent's leg, and he had dropped to both knees. I connected with a solid hit on one of his thighs, but he called it as "dead leg".
Now, I understand that if he had been kneeling on one leg, that would have been the case, but as is stated in the MoA: 6.4. If both knees are on the ground, and the leg wound is from a hacking or smashing weapon then any hit to either leg is considered a hit on the good leg. 6.5. If the target is lunging/rolling around and has a wounded leg (hacking or smashing) and is hit in either leg (even the one already hit) it is considered a hit on the good leg.
Hence my confusion. I mentioned something about it a bit later, and was informed that certain rules are open to chapter interpretation.

Honestly, I've always been a little bit confused about the rulings for "dead limbs" myself...i know Bishop mentioned something last week when training the new guy, about how it only applied to when it was pierced but not slashed/bashed...or something like that...hence my confusion

Pretty much to keep it simple if you get hit in either leg and are down, you are dead. It's kind of a douche maneuver to "dead"-off any limb hit. I don't know what the dag handbook says about the matter but thats how we play up here. who deaded off the hit?

I'd really like to not name any names...just cuz I don't want to feel like an ass, ya know?
But yeah, that's pretty much how I do it. I think I've called "dead leg" a couple times, but not in a while. I don't like fighting from my knees, XD.
