As many of you know it was Bishop and Militis that started the chapter here in Ft. Wayne. For those of you unaware, I'll fill everybody in now.
Around 6-7ish years ago, Bishop and Militis found Dagorhir and loved it. With that they started the chapter of the NS here in Ft. Wayne. Lots of stuff happened with all of IN but that isn't important to the Steppes as a whole.
I started fighting with the group over two years ago. I joined the Legion of the Dragoons (Bishop and Militis's unit) about 6 months after joining. After a few more months started to go by and the off season rushed toward me, I (and others) realized that I was doing alot of the organizing and building (with TONS of help from Bis and Mili) and was starting to act as kind of a leader for the NS. This allowed Bishop to focus more on his unit now that he had another to help him get things around in the NS.
I Have been acting "chief" for the NS for over a year now. I think that I have done some very good things for the chapter with recruiting, organization, leadership, PR work, Event Planning and running etc. It wasn't just me and I don't want people to think this is a "look how rad I am" post, because it is just the opposite.
I (we) couldn't have grown as we have as a chapter and as a friendship here in Ft. Wayne with-out the help and love all of you have given me and the local group (and Dag as a whole).
Thank you guys for being an awesome chapter that I am PROUD to say I fight and bleed for ever time I pick up my blade. But as with any group of people in any kind of organization, there is dissent.
I ask all of our fighters and savages and people that sit off to the side and help in other ways to the chapter.
If you have an Issue with me as the leader of the NS, then bring it up to me. I cant make changes to help the chapter unless I know what needs changed. Even if that means a change in the "chief'. Don't whisper behind peoples backs and talk pretty to their faces. Be the warrior we all strive to be and tell me when there is an issue.
Thank you all
