When Jessek was brought into this world, it had been a very harsh time. The world was in siege and he was of little help to his parents who could hardly afford to support themselves. He was cast out of his home and left to die in the forest. He manged to survive and was found by a strange group of warriors known as the barbarians. They saved him from the harsh winter and took him in too their 'family.' They raised him from birth and trained him in the art of war. He became particularly fond of all of them especially Kelerek one of the toughest of all the men.
13 years had passed and Jessek was still trying to find his way in the world. His barbarian brethren had ran out of food and were starving. They didn't think they would make it with all the men they had so they decided to slaughter their own men so they could make it through the winter. They chose to kill Kelerek, Jessek, and a dozen other warriors. They killed every man in his sleep but Jessek was out wandering that night. When he returned to camp everyone had gone and all that remained were his dead friends.
He was forced into exile and escaped into a far away land for 3 years to training for his encounter with his once friends and gain revenge upon them. He knew nothing but sadness. Everywhere he turned it seemed as though the worse were to happen to him. He had seen much bloodshed for someone of his age and His only desires were that of revenge and hatred. He realized that he couldn't make it alone any longer and decided he need some proper training if he was to be a real warrior. In his exile he stumbled upon a great warrior known as Militis. Militis accepted Jessek into the Northern Steppes. Here he trained by the greatest warriors in the land to be something special, something better.
